There's no difference between PvE unlocking and PvP unlocking. Your PvE characters will get the usual unlocking benefits (heroes can use all the skills).

im not quite sure wutchu mean

unlocked skills is not the same thing as a learned skill on a pve character

ill try to explain how skill unlocks work

if u buy skill packs
then those skills r "unlocked"

pvp characters can use any unlocked skill

but a pve character must "learn" a skill before using it
whether its unlocked or locked

there are 3 ways to learn a skill:
1. skill trainers
2. quests
3. skill tomes

there are numerous skill trainers in different locations throught the game that offer differnet skills, so if u r lookin for a specific skill, u need to go to the specific skill trainer
however, if the skill is unlocked, u may learn that skill from any trainer u want

if u acquire a skill tome, u may use it to learn an unlocked skill
u cannot learn a locked skill with a skill tome

one last note:
heroes work jus like pvp characters, and can use any unlocked skill

Ah ok thanks. So when i buy a skill pack my PvP guys get it, and my PvE get it at any trainer.

One more thing sorry but thanks for the help,

If I buy all the expansions and not PvP Acces kit, i can still make PvP and PvE characters right? And with PvP characters could i still join in a guild and do guild fights (whatever they are called) or alliance fights? And the for the items pack, is that every item in the game included the best stuff, instantly given but for PvP guys only

the expansions r the full game
both pve+pvp

pvp access kit is pvp-only

item pack...im not sure wuts included in that
but i believe it is jus all the weapon/armour inscriptions and mods/runes (aka upgrades) unlocked
not weapons themselves...those r already available to everyone

You don't have to buy the PvP access kits to PvP. You just have to unlock every skill, upgrade, hero, etc.. Through balthazar faction rather than buying a skill pack.

On the other hand, if you have the skill unlocked, then if you make a new PVE toon, then it can access any skill for a particular chapter at any trainer in that chapter, rather than waiting to get to a particular level.

For example, you normally have to go to Gammel at Copperhammer Mines to learn Riposte. On the other hand, if you have the skill unlocked, you can go to any trainer in Tyria and learn it.

So anything you ahve unlocked with a pack or with Balth Faction is actually quite useful for PVE.
